Frenetic rhythms and accordion mix with electronic beats to define the new sound of cumbia: a rhythm originally born in Colombia but that has since trickled down throughout Latin America and then crossed over to European audiences. With a raw voice reminiscent of indigenous amazonian chants, and a relaxed flow of a chic rapper, La Yegros has transformed into the queen of the scene. Her first album, Viene de Mi, has a variety of influences that combine tropical music, folklore, reggae, dancehall and arabic music.

YEAH BUT NO (GER)
presented by ByteFM, Intro und Musikblog
On November 10th the debut album of Yeah But No is released. The project of Berlin based musicians Douglas Greed and Fabian Kuss, that has grown into a band, tracks down the heaviness of breach and ending in rainy Electronica. It celebrates the energy within every change and the beauty of a new start. With smart compositions the duo airily maps the melancholy hidden in synths and drum machines.https://www.youtube.com/watch?list=PLPzRCGBQpAomNbuRvsJYVz80Ir7k1gpQv&time_continue=1&v=geWKq5mHhHw

RÄPZODI (LU)

Their unusual acoustic jazz hip hop could remind the elders of Oxmo’s legendary Jazzbastards, if it wasn’t for the Luxembourgish multi-mc action and the two Tonnar offsprings Tun and Luka https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DAGmc0WNfhA
