SANGRE DE MUÉRDAGO - “The shape of folk to come”

Galician neo folk wizards Sangre de Muérdago draw deeply from Atlantic landscapes, ancestral memory and acoustic ritual. Founded around the creative vision of Pablo Caamiña Ursusson, the project weaves together classical guitar, hurdy-gurdy, nyckelharpa, cello, clarinet, music box, traditional percussion and vocal harmonies into an organic, intimate sound that feels both ancient and strikingly present.

Rooted in the traditions of Galicia yet resonating far beyond, Sangre de Muérdago’s compositions evoke forests, coastlines and forgotten mythologies, carried by poetic lyrics sung in Galician. Their concerts unfold as immersive journeys — delicate, meditative and emotionally intense — where fragile melodies gradually bloom into powerful collective moments.

Bridging folk heritage and contemporary expression, Sangre de Muérdago have established themselves as one of Europe’s most distinctive voices in modern acoustic music.

PTOLEMEA

The alter ego of Priscila da Costa (vocalist of Sinistro), is a musical and cinematic project that blends atmospheric rock, emotional intensity, and a strong visual dimension, exploring themes such as identity, memory, transformation, and rebirth through a deep and expressive voice.

*Kali*, the new album, marks a turning point in the project’s journey and draws inspiration from the symbolic figure of the Hindu goddess Kali, where destruction appears as a necessary step in the creation of something new. The songs move through the end of cycles, the confrontation with inner shadows, and the courage to let go of what no longer serves. In this acoustic-format concert, Ptolemea presents *Kali* in a stripped-down and intimate way, bringing the audience closer to the songs and creating a moment of close, sincere listening.
